Funding
The Illinois Online Network (ION) is funded by the state of Illinois to provide professional development in the area of online teaching and learning to faculty at all community colleges in Illinois and at the three campuses of the University of Illinois .

Reporting Line
Staff of the Illinois Online Network (ION) report to the Program Coordinator of ION, who, in turn, reports to the University of Illinois University Outreach and Public Services department of University Administration.
