Description
This course assists participants in discovering various mobile technologies as they might be applied to distance learning. Students will survey various technology formats, analyzing for strengths and weaknesses of each. Students will design, create, and present a learning unit in mobile learning format appropriate to their primary student demographic.

At the completion of this course students should be able to:
1. describe at least three different types of mobile communication technology that relate to distance learning applications.
2. explain why different mobile device forms or styles may be useful for full or partial completion of a distance learning course
3. present an analysis of their desired learning outcomes in terms of limits and opportunities of mobile technology that are consistent with the standards presented in the course.
4. submit a unit of study on the topic of their choice that effectively employs mobile technology for its content.
5. submit a unit of study on the topic of their choice that effectively employs mobile technology for its interaction.
6. submit a unit of study on the topic of their choice that effectively employs mobile technology for its learning assessment and evaluation.

All of our courses except the Advanced Online Seminars may be taken for graduate
courses through UIS. You do not pay twice if you choose this

to enroll through UIS, you need to follow the instructions.
