You only pay the fees to the program through which you are enrolling.
The payment information below is for those registering through this Website
for CEU's. Those wishing to take the courses for graduate credit through
the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) will use the fee schedule
and policies for that program. Refer to How to Register for
more information on this option. You do
NOT pay twice (once here and then there). You only pay the fees to the
program through which you are enrolling. Course Payment
For those taking the courses for academic credit through the
University of Illinois at Springfield, you ONLY pay tuition through them.
You do not pay a second fee to ION. See registering

information.
For those taking the courses for Continuing Education Units
through ION, Registration
for courses is open to the general public, but there is a tuition charge
for participants who are not employees of the University of Illinois or
one of the Illinois Online Network founding institutions. Tuition is divided
in half for faculty, staff, and students at partner institutions.
All participants, independent of affiliation, pay a fee for
Advanced Online Seminars. The tuition is determined by the number of contact hours and online discussion
requirements for the course.
Fees in 2008 are
$500 ($250 Partners) for all courses except the
Practicum, which is $600 ($300). No fee for faculty and staff at ION
member institutions.
$250 for Advanced Online Seminars ($125 for ION Members).
For courses
taken for CEU's, payment must be received by the seventh day of
the course and should be in the form of a check, money order, purchase
order, or credit card. Contact MVCR by email or by phone to pay by credit
card. Purchase Orders must include the institution's taxpayer ID (FEIN)

Refunds
If a course is canceled or rescheduled, you may request a refund or a transfer
to another course. Otherwise, tuition is non refundable.
