What does the future hold for blogs?

The popularity of blogs seems likely to continue to rise over the near term as more and more people learn about this people-friendly Web publishing technology. There is growing interest in the RSS (rich site summary) syndication of blogs. RSS is an xml feature that enables bloggers to easily share their latest updates in an abbreviated format. Aggregators are used to gather the latest updates from multiple blogs into one news feed.
